How Our Waitlist Works
When you place a deposit, you’ll be added to the waitlist in the order your deposit is received. As puppies become available, families are contacted in that order based on their selected waitlist preference.
While we carefully plan each litter, we cannot guarantee specific colors, patterns, genders, or the number of puppies in any given litter. Our priority is to thoughtfully match families with available puppies while maintaining the health, quality, and standards of our breeding program.
Deposits are non‑refundable and secure your place on Signature Miniature Dachshunds’ waitlist.

Preferences & Expected Wait Times
We understand that families may have preferences for color, sex, or a particular pairing. The more specific your preferences are, however, the longer you should be prepared to wait. Families who are flexible on color and sex will naturally have more opportunities for their name to come up sooner.
Breeding timelines are never guaranteed. Our females typically cycle approximately every six months, and we do not breed every female on every cycle or before 18 months of age at the earliest. If a female needs to skip a cycle, or a planned breeding does not result in pregnancy, that can easily add six months or more to the wait for someone specifically waiting for that female or pairing.
We will always do our best to accommodate preferences, but litter size, color, sex, pregnancy, and timing are ultimately outside of our control. The health and well-being of our dogs will always take priority over a preferred color, sex, pairing, or timeline.
The more specific your preferences, the more flexible your timeline needs to be.
